We finally convinced him to start offering those great-tasting products to neighbors in our town of Atlanta, Texas. And now he is sharing the small-town Texas goodness with folks around this great country…one jar at a time! Recipes Of Perfection
Cooking is something our dad began at a very early age. He has shared childhood stories with us where he worked long hours at the family publishing business just next door to their home in the small east Texas town of Tenaha. He would often be sent home to prepare meals for the family…pre-teen years of age. He said he was always experimenting with different ingredients and spices in the foods he cooked. He’s been cooking in the kitchen for more than 50 years! He said he enjoyed cooking then as much as he does today.
Our parents have been married for more than 35 years. They have always shared in the household duties…mom cleans the house and dad has always shopped for groceries and cooked the meals. It’s been a very successful, and happy arrangement.
As you’ve probably gathered by now, our dad is happiest in his kitchen. Although he often begins with a recipe, he takes his years of experience of what ingredients blend best together for unique flavors making the recipe his own. And then he shares those food creations with friends and family. Now you are family. So we hope you enjoy our Dad’s Gourmet Foods products and the recipes here on our website. CANDIED JALAPENOS
Our Candied Jalapeños can be eaten straight from the jar and we have had a hard time finding food that doesn’t taste great with our peppers! Throw them on burgers, eggs, cream cheese, in a salad, beans & soups, cornbread, charcuterie boards…you get it…they are just great on anything.
GOURMET PICKLES
Simply delicious straight out of the jar, but why stop there? Great with hamburgers, charcuterie boards, casseroles, sandwiches, or deep fried!
CANDIED JALAPENO RELISH
Same great taste as our Candied Jalapeños, we only minced them, so you can spread over your meal of choice or simply add them to any recipe.
