Simple Pinwheel Appetizers

These quick-to-assemble pinwheels make great appetizers for gatherings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pkg Large flour tortillas
  • 1 Lb. Your favorite pre-sliced meat (chicken, turkey, ham, etc)
  • 1 Lb. Your favorite pre-sliced cheese (we like smoked Gouda)
  • 1 Pkg Cream cheese, warmed to room temperature
  • 1/2 Cup DGF Jalapeno Relish or Gourmet Relish (or combo)

Instructions
 

  • This is such an easy recipe to prepare.
  • Place the cream cheese in a mixing bowl and add in either the DGF jalapeno relish or gourmet relish. Mix well. OR better, use two mixing bowls and place half of the cream cheese block in each bowl then in one bowl add the jalapeno relish and the other add the gourmet relish. Then you’ve got the best of both!
  • Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture onto the full surface of a flour tortilla.
  • Then add a layer of the meat slices, followed by a layer of the cheese slices.
  • Starting at one end of the tortilla, roll it all the way. Then take a sharp knife and cut into bite sized slices approximately 1/2 wide. Place on a serving tray and refrigerate for 1-2 hours if you have time, but they can be served immediately, too.
